Pieces move diagonally, one square at a time, always forward — until they're crowned. Jump over an opponent's piece into an empty square beyond it to capture that piece; if another jump is available from your new position, you must take it. Reach the far row and your piece becomes a king, which can then move and capture diagonally in any direction.
