How to play Math Sprint
- Choose Easy or Hard, then Start 60 seconds. Questions mix addition, subtraction and multiplication. Type a whole-number answer and press Enter or Submit.
- A correct answer earns 10 points. A wrong answer loses 3, with a minimum score of zero. Empty or non-numeric entries do not submit a question.
- Pause stops the active countdown. Hidden tabs pause automatically and require Resume. At time up, the result shows points and correct answers. Best score is shared across both difficulty settings in this browser.
Math Sprint practice guide
Break a multiplication into two easier parts
A fast answer is useful only when it is correct. For an awkward product, split one factor into familiar pieces and add the results. Addition can often be grouped to make a round number, while subtraction can be checked by adding the difference back. Use the same difficulty when comparing sessions because Hard draws from a wider number range.
Calculate twelve times seven
For 12 × 7, think of 10 × 7 plus 2 × 7: 70 plus 14 gives 84. This replaces one less-familiar fact with two smaller ones. Enter the whole result rather than an expression; the answer field expects a number, not arithmetic notation.
A focused practice session
- Complete an Easy sprint focused on correct answers.
- Review whether multiplication or subtraction caused more errors.
- Repeat at the same setting and compare accuracy as well as points.
What to keep in mind
The timer counts active play and pauses when the tab is hidden. Scores are a casual game record, not an assessment of intelligence or school performance. Easy and Hard share one saved best, so compare like settings manually.
