How to play Neon Pinball

  1. Launch a ball from the right-hand starting lane. Hold the left or right flipper button as the descending ball approaches that flipper’s zone. Arrow keys also control flippers when the court has focus; Space launches.
  2. Each bumper contact scores 10 points, with a brief contact cooldown. Gravity pulls the ball down; the central gap and side lanes can drain it.
  3. A run has three balls. Launch again after a drain, or start a new game after all three. Pause is available and hidden tabs pause automatically. Your highest score saves in this browser.

Neon Pinball practice guide

The approach matters more than constant button presses

Flippers help only when the ball reaches their lower zones. Watch whether the ball is approaching the left or right side, then activate that flipper before contact. The middle gap remains dangerous because neither flipper covers its centre. Bumpers alter the return direction, so follow the new path after each hit rather than expecting a repeated trajectory.

A ball falls towards the right zone

The ball leaves the centre bumper moving down and right. Hold the right flipper before it reaches the yellow bar area. Pressing only the left flipper cannot affect a ball outside that side’s reach. After the rebound, release and watch its next return rather than assuming the same side will be needed again.

A focused practice session

  1. Use one ball to observe where each flipper’s active zone begins.
  2. On the next ball, follow the path after every bumper contact.
  3. Compare points over all three balls rather than judging a run by one lucky bounce.

What to keep in mind

This is a small original arcade table with simplified flipper and bumper physics. It has no gambling, prizes or real-money play. Points come from bumper contacts; keeping a ball alive alone does not add score.
